The sooner we can get our ideas out of the ideasphere and into reality the better. Don’t wait until your idea is 100% ready. It probably won’t work 100% the first time anyway. Iterate. Time and time again. Just keep testing the ideas. Plod on. The more work we create, the more likely we are to find the right stuff. It’s easy to become paralyzed and stymied with fear. What will someone think of my idea? Likely, they’re not even paying attention. What if someone shoots me down? Who cares? Is that really the first time? If it is rest assured it won’t be the last. We analyze and analyze and never take action. Put the idea to the test in the real world. Then and only then will we find out if it holds merit. And if it doesn’t, abandon that idea and get another one. Great ideas abound. Astronauts and pioneers had to be risk-takers. Now that the world is discovered–it’s not just we have more understanding than we did even 100 years ago–we need a new generation of risk-takers. Don’t wait for the launch to go perfectly. Get the idea out and the best ideas have a way of finding their way out.
